Definitely in my top 3 pizza spots. It is BYOB, but we did takeout. The Detroit style pizza is the only one I’ve tried so far and it was absolutely unreal. We got The General with pepperoni, sausage, jalepenos, and mikes hot honey. Absolutely unreal. We split a Fried Cutlet sandwich, also amazing (and came with fries which is awesome). I wish I had the chance to try their ice cream cookies, but they were sold out so we got their Cookies and Cream Stix. Very good, but might be just a little too much for us. But if you’re looking for something ultra sweet and ultra rich, don’t skip it. Overall, just a very solid Jersey pizza spot.

This was the first time I ever had The Galley and I'm chicken parm/vodka parm connoisseur and when I tell you this was the BEST Chicken parm sandwich I have ever had in my entire life I MEAN THAT. First off, I LOVE the fact that they use Bell & Evans organic chicken breast to make their food. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection. It had golden brown crust that was crispy on the outside but the chicken was juicy as ever on the inside and fully cooked all the way through. The cheese tasted of top quality almost as if it is house made fresh mozzarella which wouldn't surprise me one bit. The bread was toasted perfectly throughout the entire sandwich and the ends were cooked a bit longer which added for the perfect last bite. The vodka sauce is the best vodka sauce I've had from any pizza place in the area. It was creamy and flavorful. Each bite made me wish I ordered another one especially when I finished the whole sandwich lol. That sandwich is a 10/10. I can see why The Galley is one of the top pizzerias in the area, if not the entire state. If you know what's good for you, and you can eat get their chicken vodka parm, you won't be disappointed. It was pretty busy when I went in to pick it up and rightfully so, this establishment deserves all of the business that they receive and then some. Keep up the amazing work! I almost bit my phone thats how good the sandwich is 😂 Alright I have since had their house chicken parm (which was amazing, the garlic cheesy bread and vodka sauce just hits different for the vodka parm.) But I finally tried their pizza and photographed below is their Burrata (Margie) pie. It's safe to say that this is now my favorite Margherita pie I've ever eaten as well as just my favorite pizzeria overall. I've eaten here FOUR TIMES in a week. I'm about to just ask my bank if they can shack up next door. Kudos to those in the kitchen, in front of the pizza oven and front of house. This place runs like a well oiled machine, thank you for what you do! I tried chicken scampi for the FIRST TIME EVER in my life and the chefs put their all into this dish. I am like I said a chicken parm connoisseur but I'm convinced now that this was my favorite chicken/pasta dish I have ever had in my life. I could literally eat their food seven days a week I just might be approaching that with the streak I'm on LOL. The staff here work extremely hard and diligently to provide the best service and quality they possibly can for the community. I don't think it's possible to have a bad experience here unless you bring bad energy around and why would you want to do that when the food is chef's kiss, the staff are so warm, welcoming and great at what they do. You'd be foolish to pass up on this establishment or piss them off lol. Either way its a lose lose so if you don't want to be a loser become a winner winner and get a chicken dinner 😂 (08/10/2026) I tried the cranking HOT meatball sandwich yesterday as I wanted to expand my pallet once again with the food here. I was NOT disappointed. This was the BEST meatball sandwich I've ever had in my life. I am going to keep saying it the Galley is the best in monmouth county to do it. (Sorry The Sauce, I love you guys too) but I've had five things from the Galleys menu since I've first gone here and EVERY single item has been incredible so far. Also, again the staff here are amazing and work so hard to provide top tier service to the community. If you give this place a one star or complain, ask yourself this one simple question: AM I THE PROBLEM? These individuals aren't robots and if you are coming here for food chances are other people are too (I mean can you blame them? I can't, the food is amazing and AGAIN the staff are incredible.) Show them some grace. (Review limit reached lol.) I want a food challenge I just dont want to end up on my six hundred pound life 😂😂 (I selected $20-$30 per person because I buy the stuff I want. It can easily be $10-$20 per person if you're smart but you'll want more!) Stay cheesy!

So. As a pizza "expert" I can say easily this is a go to for me at the Jersey Shore. Anywhere can do one type of pizza well, but this place is at three. Tomato Pies. 5 of 8 on my pizzapornscale1to8 (YouTube) or @psscale1to8 is fantastic. Tonight is was upside down grandma pie and Detroit Style. NO let down. Seriously I still have at least three more types. Simply amazing! If you want to sample more than "NY/NJ" pies. Get over to this place. Super friendly staff. Cool Asbury vibe, laid back and simple. Just nearly perfect. Just make sure to get a reservation, as the seating is limited. Do not let that dampen your trip. Just a heads up. 5 of 8 is a great score. See my scale is based on the 8 slices in a pie. So when. I try a new pizza. It's how much do I want to eat right away. Over half a pie.... Is goooood eating !!! This is Pizza visit 231 and counting !!! BTW. Get some freaking fries too !!! Delicious.

Incredible cheesesteak!!! Both me and my wife absolutely loved it. 🤤 One of the best we've ever had. 👌 We both ate half there and the other half for lunch the next day and were stuffed each time. My 17 yr old daughter ordered their Margherita Pizza and really liked it. 👍

0 stars Pizza was rock hard and dry. Never taste a pizza as dry in my life. Garbage 🗑 🚮 waitress has horrible attitude problems. Rolling her eyes like if she doesn't like her job get another one. Management sucks like who is even the manager or running the restaurant. Longest wait time for just one pie. Sadly my child couldn't even bite or enjoy the pizza since it's rock hard. Reviews aren't even legit. Then try to gaslight me saying I received a phone call but I never received it only "scam likely" husband ordered his food with his number and it showed up as "gallery pizza" with a different number. Still doesn't explain why the pizza so dry.
