⭐ Outraged — This agency needs a full state and federal audit. The Asbury Park Housing Authority (APHA) is a textbook example of systemic failure, negligence, and severe administrative misconduct. This agency receives public funding specifically to protect and assist vulnerable members of the community, yet leadership—specifically individuals like Jason Jennings—actively weaponize their positions to retaliate against the very people they are paid to help. Instead of addressing critical housing crises, missing emergency funds, or providing basic stability, APHA leadership has gone so far as to call law enforcement on a domestic violence survivor and 100% disabled veteran who was simply demanding accountability and administrative transparency. They choose intimidation tactics over doing their jobs. Leaving a vulnerable family to face immediate, severe harm while staff collect paychecks is unacceptable. The lack of oversight here is staggering, and the community is actively documenting every single violation. If you are dealing with this office, document everything in writing, record every interaction, and escalate your complaints directly to HUD Public Affairs, the Office of Inspector General (OIG), and state representatives. The public is watching, the videos are gaining tens of thousands of views, and this administration will be held accountable. Avoid this place at all costs.

My great grandmother lived in the AP Village decades ago, and it's looking pretty good now! She answered my phone calls provided me with vital information. I’m handicapped. The have absolutely no Sense of who is living in their buildings and what they are doing on the property. Even if you attempt to talk to them, nothing gets done and that’s IF they ever answer the phone. All of their properties are a safety hazard to the community and the neighbors around them as they are not taken care of and there is absolutely no security on the properties to protect the residents and the surrounding community. Only until someone gets hurts and sues the city will the rectify the situation!!!

Dont bother with Boston Way it's nothing but a gang war. Dont let them talk you into it you will regret it . I wish I was still homeless living in my car.
